Whether you are completely new to saltwater fishing or a veteran angler, our crew is ready to meet your needs. From a quick outing to grab a handful of fish for lunch, to an all day or Multi-Day trip after Tropheys, the Crew of the Hound Dog has got you covered!

Captain Taylor Waterfield is a United States Coast Guard Certified Captain who was born and raised in Destin Florida. He has been fishing the local waters his entire life and has over 17 years of professional charter experience working out of the Destin harbor. 

Charter fishing vessel Hound Dog is a 40ft Infinity Custom Sport Fisher, with twin Cummins diesel power. She is equipped with Federal reef and pelagic permits so you won’t be limited to fishing close to the beach. Being one of the faster boats in the charter fleet allows us to go further quicker and spend less of your fishing time traveling to the fishing grounds. Hound Dog is equipped with a comfortable air conditioned cabin to keep you out of the heat and a clean spacious restroom. She sports a sound system with blue tooth capability and a microwave oven if cold cut sandwiches aren’t your style. A large back fishing deck allows you to spread out and insures you won’t spend your day rubbing elbows or tangled with the fisherman or woman next to you.
